Thursday evening’s Europa League draw between Sporting Braga and Wolverhampton Wanderers was a mixed affair.

Having travelled to Nuno’s homeland for the game, the hosts took the quick lead, but Wolves responded well and established a 3-1 advantage as we went into the half time break. Second half we capitulated to allow them to draw level, but the lively match still saw us progress to the next stage of the competition, and we have a game to spare.

With more positives than negatives, statistics website Whoscored certainly had us on top in the game, and the impressive Adama Traore took their star man award to lift Man of the Match with a 9.07 score.

Completing the top five best performers in their eyes were Raul Jimenez (8.51), Jonny (7.46), Matt Doherty (7.19) and Joao Moutinho (7.18).

The aim was to continue our adventure and qualify for the knockout stages and we achieved that in some style, and we could still go through as Group K winners depending on the final round of games.

Is Traore the most improved player this season?

Yes, he has transformed as a player

No, he is still too inconsistent
