Wolverhampton Wanderers have only 18 points left to play for in this year’s battle in the Championship.

With the games dwindling down now at the real business end of the campaign as Wolverhampton Wanderers find themselves heading towards the end of May, sitting in 15th place in the table following a real tangible turn of form and results under new manager Paul Lambert, there’s plenty to smile about.

Wolves were unbeaten in six until the slip up against Bristol City but with six games remaining in the year, we remain eleven points clear of the relegation places – sitting on 51 with Blackburn on 40.

With Wolves continuing to hold a game in hand on every side below them in the table as well, as things stand, that game in hand – if won – could see us close the gap on Cardiff City as we look to end the campaign by climbing the table another a few places.
