1 Shot, 45 Touches & 4 Tackles Sees Much Improved Wolves Man Take MotM

It was a fantastic Wednesday evening for Wolverhampton Wanderers as we took a comfortable Premier League victory over Arsenal at the Molineux.

The visitors dominated possession, but an otherwise tight game in terms of chances saw four goals from the only four registered efforts on target – the difference being we got three on target to take the three points in a 3-1 victory.

Ruben Neves, Matt Doherty and Diogo Jota take the plaudits from getting on the scoresheet and so much for those who thought we’d run out of steam lately.

Statistics website Whoscored were obviously very positive in their post-game player ratings, and Jota stole the show to take the star man award with a score of 8.45 for his efforts on the evening.

Following quickly behind to complete the top five best performers on Wednesday were Matt Doherty (7.96), Ruben Neves (7.90), Jonny Castro (7.82) and Joao Moutinho (7.68).

A fantastic win and seventh spot is ours again by the narrowest of advantages.
